—- The issue with this is that you are defining someone who is homosexual as someone SOLELY attracted to the same sex in carnal way. Which if that was switched to a heterosexual then you all would yell no. Because people who are straight, myself included, are not ONLY attracted to the opposite sex carnally. I don’t look at all men like a piece of meat, and then scold myself because by God I’ve committed a sin. 9 out of 10 times I want to be with guys based of personality, is that a sin? No. Homosexual people are the same. You’re telling me that someone who DID NOT CHOOSE TO BE GAY can save their virginity until marriage, remain faithful to their spouse, worship God, AND STILL THEY LIVE IN SIN BECAUSE THE SAME SEX SLEEPS NEXT TO THEM AT NIGHT? No.
Same sex isn’t an issue. Promiscuity is an issue. People who are broken and try to fill the cracks with sin because of the short-lasting pleasure need intervention. Hetero and Homosexual alike. And last I checked the Jesus of the Gospel preached healing and love. NOT condemnation. NOT hatred. NOT judgement.
SO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD (LITERALLY) STOP giving Christ a bad name JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING. Yeah, you were born straight. Lucky you, and lucky me for that matter to not have to put up with the nonsense they face DAILY. But just because you’re not going through it personally doesn’t excuse you from being ignorant and ALIENATING an entire group of humans, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, because someone over 2,000 years ago said, “Hey LOVE (not just SEX) is for the opposite sex and the opposite sex only.”
